State of the Nationals: New optimism and Orlando Hudson
“There’s no way we’ll lose 100 games,” said Nats’ Ryan Zimmerman during an interview with the Washington Post.
Talk about aiming low. “We won’t lose 100 games,” but I guess you could call this optimism. Zimmerman goes on to discuss how the young team learned to lose and understand why, and now they’re ready for the opposite. To win.
Also in the interview he talks about the excitement of playing in the nation’s capital and their strong fan support. Not to mention the fan’s love for Nationals Park.
Definitely an article worth checking out.
In another Nationals news, all week long there’s been talk about Orlando Hudson.
Rumors are still circulating about Hudson, but MLB writer Bill Ladson reported he is too expensive for the team, but so far no rumors have been killed either way on whether or not he could become a Nat.
Also in the rumor mill are whispers about Johnny Damon, but if the team can’t afford Hudson I doubt they could afford Damon.
