Rumors circulate about potential interest in Randy Winn
Recently, the Nats have put a lot of effort into signing some strong pitchers and a catcher, but now they need to worry about what happens to the ball if it doesn’t make it from the pitches hand to the catchers glove and goes screeching into the outfield.
It’s no secret the team’s outfield was pretty close to infamous last year and now the team may be looking to improve with former San Fransisco Giant Randy Winn.

Winn had a pretty decent season last year playing in 149 games, and even recorded his 200th stolen base. Despite being 35-years-old he also has shown to be still a fairly decent right fielder, but he’s also not getting any younger with his batting average declining every year for the last three years straight.
Supposedly right now according to, both the Padres and Diamondbacks are also interested.
A lot of rumors have followed the Nationals in the last few months, such as RHP Matt Capps. Well now Capps is on the team. So we’ll have to see what happens with this one.
