SI names National’s Stephen Strasburg top prospect
John Manuel of Baseball America posted a story on Sports Illustrated’s site naming his top 20 prospects that will be listed in this year’s Baseball America’s Prospect Handbook, and after a great showing in the Arizona Fall League Stephen Strasburg was named at number one.
Starsburg was the first draft pick overall in 2009 and apparently has a fastball that clocks in at 100 mph to prove it.
Manuel even speculated when the Nats would be moving him up to the majors.
Check out Strasburg’s highlight as well as the 19 other players named here.
